What better way to wrap up 2016 than with two successful events? We held our Tomorrow’s World events at our Kent Head Office on 30th November, and at Ricoh’s London showroom in The Broadgate Tower on 7th December.
At Systems Technology, we realise that technology and working practices are changing all the time and keeping up with them can be a pressure. This is why we hold free learning events throughout the year, to keep our clients up to speed with the latest technology trends, and how they can benefit.
Here’s a run-down of what took place.
Keynote by Chas Moloney – Tomorrow’s World
We were delighted to be joined by Ricoh UK’s Marketing Director, Chas Moloney, who gave a keynote talk about Tomorrow’s World. We have received many requests for copies of the slides, which you can find below.
Zone 1 – Digital Transformation with FileHound
Our partner FileHound enlightened our guests about Digital Transformation for accounts departments. They combine their cloud-based document management system with our scanning and capture solutions to automate the normally manual method of invoice processing. Accounts departments are embracing Automated Invoice Processing, saving up to 50% in time.
Zone 2 – Sharing and Automation with Print&Share
Document sharing and workflows exist in every organisation, and while there are enterprise level workflow solutions, the desktop has been somewhat overlooked, until now. Gerdi Staelens from Winking introduced Ricoh UK’s intelligent print driver ‘Print&Share’; one app to print, email, route, authorise, edit, and archive documents – all with the click of a button. Visit the Print&Share microsite for more information.
Zone 3 – Apps and Innovation with Ricoh and Systems Technology
Andrew Hendry from Ricoh UK showcased how the latest Ricoh apps and digital whiteboards enable collaborative and agile working. The new Ricoh MFDs are operated using Android screens, bringing touch, flick and swipe to the office workspace with new apps arriving weekly. Why travel between offices when employees can collaborate and interact on the same document with the use of digital whiteboards and tablet applications? Contact us to find out more.
Zone 4 – 3D Printing with Leapfrog
For many, seeing the entry level Leapfrog 3D printer we demonstrated was their first insight into a multi-billion-pound industry. There is growth across many sectors, including aerospace, defence, automobile, healthcare, and education. Download the 3D Printing Technology Fact Sheet PDF.
