On 20th October 2011 Systems Technology and Ricoh joined forces to deliver an Open Day designed to showcase some of the latest hardware and software solutions. The day, which was held at Ricoh’s famous showroom in Canary Wharf with exquisite views over London proved to be a very successful event as a record number of attendees for a Ricoh Open Day came from near and far to understand Systems Technology’s unique customer-centric approach to business.
Rather than be like every other demonstration of the latest printers and photocopiers, Systems Technology decided to focus on some of the key areas that were felt to be the most important issues for the modern day business. There were 5 zones in total – Security, Managed Print Service, Global Scan, Production Print and Environmental Sustainability. Each zone was covered by an expert from Ricoh who was able to guide the customer through the features and benefits of each value added solution, this approach to a business relationship fits perfectly with the proposition of Systems Technology and the SyTe Surveys that we provide.

The most popular zone appeared to be Security as it was a real eye opener into the potential security risks of the current photocopier market and demonstrated how we at Systems Technology are deploying the latest Ricoh equipment fitted as standard with data overwrite and encryption modules to protect our client’s confidential information. Managed Print Services also gained a lot of interest with organisations looking to implement a uniform print strategy that allows them to measure, manage and monitor their spend and volumes as well as remove some of the burdens and frustrations of running individual desktop printers.
One customer quoted “I found the open day very useful, thanks to knowledgeable demonstrators, interesting products, and an excellent mix of hardware and software on show.”
Another stated “The day at Canary Wharf was very insightful, highlighting many areas where our current workflows could be improved. Whilst the representative had discussed the concepts prior to the open day, it was excellent to see them all in action.”
After such a successful Open Day, Systems Technology intend to deliver many more. Please keep an eye out on the News Page for more information.
Finally, we appreciate that due to busy schedules some of you may have not been able to make the day, therefore if you would like to arrange an appointment for one of our representatives to come and discuss the solutions in further detail then please call 01634 291124.
