How do I use the document feeder and can I use documents with staples?All documents placed via the document feeder must be face side up, no documents with staples or paperclips can be placed through this. How can I stop the paper feeder feeding more than one sheet at a time?When loading paper into the trays please ensure the reams of paper are fanned before placing into the trays Can I print on labels?If you ever print or copy on to labels please ensure the sheets of labels are placed in the bypass - at no point should labels be placed into any of the paper trays. How do I stop black marks appearing on my copies?If at anytime black marks are appearing on your copies or prints you need to clean the platen glass area, this only needs to be the strip of glass on the left. When should I order new toner?When you are replacing your last toner please give us a call as we can then ensure the engineer has this in his stock when he next comes to PM the machine. |
How do I stop the paper from jamming?If you are experiencing paper jams just check the dials on the inside of the paper trays tally with the paper in there- you would have been shown this on your training session. Another cause for paper jams could be that the paper placed in the machine is slightly damp; please ensure that paper is stored in a cool dry place. Where can I get replacement staples for my staple finisher?If your machine has a staple finisher replacement staples can be ordered directly from us, there is a charge for replacements. My document wont print - what should I do?A common problem we have with printing is due to the actual page set up of the document. If you experience problems with printing a document please go to your page set up to make sure that this is the same as that you have chosen on the print driver. If the two don't match the PC cannot communicate with the machine causing it to not print. Page set up can be found under file on your PC toolbar and page setup is one of the options on the drop down. |
